With blend components hailing from all of the world’s major coffee growing regions, our Majestic Decaf presents a wonderful mosaic of chocolate, caramel, and dried fruit flavors. Roasted medium dark, this coffee is perfect for drinkers seeking a flavorful decaffeinated coffee experience but desire a cup milder than the roast-forward intensity of our Decaf French Roast.
A note on how this coffee is decaffeinated from our sourcing partner Royal Coffee, based in Oakland, CA: "SWP Decaf coffee is decaffeinated using the Swiss Water Process (SWP). In this method the green beans are pre-soaked in water to expand the beans for caffeine extraction. The beans are then introduced to Green Coffee Extract (GCE), a solution concentrated with coffee solubles that extract the caffeine without extracting the coffee’s particular flavor."
