Decaf Organic One Black Espresso
Decaf One Black maintains the chocolate-centric flavor profile of its namesake, but in a decaffeinated format. Roasted medium dark, Decaf One Black is a flexible coffee which shines in all espresso applications and makes for a delicious filter coffee to boot.
A note on how this coffee is decaffeinated from our sourcing partner Royal Coffee, based in Oakland, CA: "SWP Decaf coffee is decaffeinated using the Swiss Water Process (SWP). In this method the green beans are pre-soaked in water to expand the beans for caffeine extraction. The beans are then introduced to Green Coffee Extract (GCE), a solution concentrated with coffee solubles that extract the caffeine without extracting the coffee’s particular flavor."
