Frank's Blend

- Frank (CL-99) served for 8 years as a K-9 for U.S. Customs and Border Protection at the southern Texas border. Although he experienced many setbacks while on duty, he never let them get in the way of making the most out of life. The last year of his service, he and his handler earned the prestigious Commissioner’s Blue Eagle Award. Sadly, after retirement, he was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Through his illness, he continued to be the goodest of boys. Frank is what we should all aspire to be, resilient in the face of adversity.

A portion of the proceeds of the Frank’s Blend will be donated to Project K-9 Hero in order to assist retired working dogs with medical treatment after their service.

In our time together (1 year, 5 months) as a k9 team, we (not including previous handlers) were able to intercept 1,113 lbs of meth, 108 lbs of cocaine, 3 lbs of heroin, and had over 20 finds of concealed humans at the south Texas border.

- Project K-9 Hero is a national nonprofit 501c3 organization, whose mission is to provide medical care, food, and death benefit assistance for our nation’s retired Police K-9s and Military Working Dogs. Project K-9 Hero also helps K-9s who need a home after their service, through rehabilitation and adoption. Project K-9 Hero, is dedicated to “Protecting Those Who Protected Us,” by spreading awareness and educating the public.
