- K9 “George” (CK-16) served honorably as a narcotics detection Dog for U.S Customs and Border Protection at the South Texas border. During his tenure, “George” and his handler intercepted significant quantities of narcotics, earning multiple awards. “George” was forced into early retirement due to severe hip dysplasia. He lived a long and great retired life;
he remained valiant until his last breath.
“George” was more than just a working canine; he was a symbol of determination and resolve, a fearless protector and a loyal best friend.

- K9 “George” was my first working K9. In our time together (4 years) as a k9 team, we were able to intercept 258 lbs of cocaine, 88lbs of meth, 3 lbs of heroin, 2,322 lbs of marijuana, 28 pcp tabs, 10 ecstasy pills and had 8 finds of concealed humans at the south Texas border.
