Turin DF64 SSP Unimodal (Multi Purpose) Burr Set Upgrade

These are multipurpose (version 2) burrs

The SSP Unimodal MP (Multi Purpose) burrs have a geometry intended to excel at highlighting flavor clarity.  This style of burr tends to work better for lighter roast coffees, especially fruity natural fermented beans, but also tend to work great with medium roasts or washed beans as well.  SSP MP burrs work great with coffees that have a higher acidity making the acidity in the cup more enjoyable.  These multi-purpose burrs were primarily designed to be used as brew burrs, but the latest version also excels with espresso as well.  These burrs are not recommended for darker roasted coffees.

SSP’s burrs are designed to last a lifetime using tool steel and coated with Red Speed Titanium Aluminum Carbon Nitride (TiAICN). On average SSP burrs have been able to grind over 10,000 pounds of coffee before needing replaced.

SSP 64mm Unimodal Red Speed burr set increases grind speed and the extraction quality. They are designed for the Turin DF64, Turin DF64V, Mazzer Super Jolly, and many other 64mm "Mazzer" hole pattern grinders.
