Introducing the latest from Turin, the new Turin DF83 Gen 2.   The Turin DF83 Gen 1 has always provided tremendous grind quality at a price that cannot be beat.  The Turin DF83 Gen 2 offers the same minimalistic, high quality, single dosing that we have all come to love, but with a new style and several internal design improvements.

The DF83 Gen 2 features Turin 83mm Red Titanium coated flat espresso burrs, designed to produce excellent espresso body, but also offering a balance of more clarity.  The DF83 Gen 2 has incorporated design improvements including four guide posts and four springs to maintain precise alignment between the upper and lower burrs, as well as a polished aluminum adjustment collar.

Although this is a fantastic grinder for espresso, it is an all purpose grinder allowing you to produce drip coffee, french press, etc. with ease!

• 83mm Turin Red Titanium Flat Burrs All DF83 Gen 2 come stock with Red Ti burrs. Option to upgrade to SSP burrs. SSP burrs will not come installed.  Original Burrs will be included with the grinder if you upgrade to SSP.
• Plasma Generator / Ion Generator Similar to the other Turin products, the DF83 Gen 2 incorporates a plasma generator in the exit chute to reduce static build up. 
• Integrated Anti-Popcorn Collar The Anti-Popcorn collar will allow you to dump coffee beans into the grinder while it is running, and reduce/eliminate any coffee beans from popping out of the dosing collar.
• 58mm Aluminum Dosing Cup You have the option to put a 58mm portafilter into the dosing cup forks, but if you wish, the included 58mm dosing cup allows you to dose a 58mm portafilter, or it is great for dosing drip methods.  Dosing cup is made from food-safe materials.  Included dosing cup color is black.
• Zero Retention design <0.1 gram Bellows on the top of the dosing chamber push any remaining coffee grounds from the grinder, keeping it clean and ready for the next cup.
• Polished Aluminum Stepless Adjustment Collar Similar to the DF64 Gen 2 design, the new DF83 Gen 2 incorporates a polished aluminum adjustment collar.  It is also paired with a removable dial indicator.
